Entertaining Deck with Pergola

About this project
This Dorval homeowner wanted a deck big enough to host family gatherings and summer cookouts without feeling cramped. We laid the boards in a herringbone pattern that gives the whole surface a custom look, wrapped the perimeter with wood railings, and added a cedar pergola in the corner for shade. Plenty of room for the grill, a dining set, and still space left over for the kids to run around.
